Interested in Membership?
To participate in the life and ministry of the congregation, it is not necessary to become a formal member of the church, but if you feel this is to be your church home for this season of your life, formalizing your membership in the church can be a significant and powerful thing.
If you have committed yourself as a formal member of the congregation, when we vote on any issues pertinent to our congregational life, such as choosing to encumber ourselves with a loan, you will be able to vote. In addition, when sensitive communication is sent out to those who are committed to the ongoing life of our church, you will receive it.
There are a few ways you can let the church know you are interested in formal membership:
- Fill out the electronic form located on this page
- Fill out a card found in the pews
- Or contact the church office by calling (541) 686-9244
Once your contact information is received you will be mailed a brief letter outlining the responsibilities and privileges of formal membership and an accompanying membership card. If you complete the card and mail it in, you will be mailed a letter from Pastor Steve welcoming you into the formal membership of the church.
