Saturday, June 1, 9:00am - 11:00am 2019
In the last gathering of our Pathways series we will explore pilgrimage. Pilgrimage is a constant theme throughout the scriptures and the Christian tradition. From Abraham, the children of Israel, Ruth, Jesus, Paul and others, we see that God’s people are a journeying people. In our time together we will begin with talking about pilgrimage at the home of a family in our congregation, then we’ll take our own personal “pilgrimage” along the McKenzie River canal path, ending with a time of reflection and prayer at the Presbyterian church in Walterville. There will be different distance options for the pilgrimage.
