Discussion of Willie Jennings’ Acts Commentary
Next on Thursday, November 7, 7:00pm - 8:30pm 2019
One of the leading voices today on a theology of race, Willie Jennings has written an extraordinary theological commentary on the Book of Acts that tries to draw out some of what Acts can say to us about relationship across lines of race, class, and power structures in our post-colonial time.
Taking three of the most important passages in Acts- Acts 2, 10-11, and 15- prior to class we will read the passage and his commentary on it, then come together to share questions, observations and inspirations.
